Real Time TD

Hue Dada! Productions is currently looking for a Real Time TD.

 

Tasks:
Under the supervision of the development director and along the technical team and the 3D artists, you will work on optimizing the tools in real time softwares (Unity especially) for various productions of the studio (series, VR experiences and feature films). You will also participate in exploring new technologies and methods inside the “digital lab” of Hue Dada ! Productions.

 
Among your missions:
  • Production tool development and maintenance + optimizations of tasks for Unity artists, to implement in a Cloud-based pipeline developed in Python and TypeScript
  • In Unity: creation and/or alteration of various shaders (toon, procedural, etc.)
  • Possible tests and implementations of AI tools 
  • Tests of AR/VR apps
  • VFX in Unity and Unreal Engine if interested and skills match
 
Job requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of Unity, Autodesk Maya (PyMel a plus), Adobe Suite. Unreal Engine 4/5 a plus.
  • Good knowledge of C#, Python, PyQt (JavaScript/TypeScript, C++, shader recommended)
  • A taste for modern development practices: Git versioning, peer programming, code review, test-driven development
  • Knowledge in DevOps greatly appreciated
  • Knowledge of Blender or any types of graphic applications appreciated
  • Good communicator and the ability to work in a team (both with remote and on-site colleagues) with a taste for pedagogy and sharing
  • Creative spirit, technical and artistic curiosity: the job comes with times to explore new creative techs (virtual production, CGI puppeteering, VR, AI, etc.) and a lot of dialogs with editorial and artistic departments

  • The position is based in Paris, starting in October 2021 
  • Schedule: part time job (2 or 3 days out of 5)
  • Location: 36 Boulevard de la Bastille, 75012 Paris (remote work is possible)
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Contract: CDDU 
  • Salary based on experience
